Tangalle is a beautiful beach that has the advantage of being not touristic and therefore almost deserted. It must be said that this is not the ideal beach for swimming, the waves are very strong. It is sometimes advised not to swim, but if you do not go too far it’s pretty funny to play with the waves. We went there only for one afternoon, but apparently it’s not very lively at night.

WHERE TO EAT at Tangalle?

We tested the Kotu Hut, just opposite the beach. Very nice small local shop with a beach view, specialized in the famous Kotu, whose logo is happily borrowed from the one of the well-known Pizza Hut :-) Why the fuss to create its own logo after all?
